Your input

Use the same currency for both costs. Example inputs are illustrative. Saved hours represent capacity, not guaranteed reductions in payroll.

Monthly billing, excluding tax. Base subscription only; conversation limits apply. Extra usage, add-ons, setup and maintenance are not included. Choose a custom cost to include them or use an annual plan’s monthly equivalent. Compare Chatbyte plans

Your result

Your result will appear here.

Hours saved = tickets × minutes ÷ 60 × automation rate. Net savings = hours saved × hourly cost − monthly chatbot cost. ROI = net savings ÷ chatbot cost × 100.

Put the result to work

Choose a monthly Chatbyte plan or enter a custom cost, then add ticket volume, handling time, hourly support cost and expected automation. The calculator subtracts your selected cost from estimated labor capacity savings and projects the result over a year. Chatbyte presets use base monthly list prices; review conversation limits and include any extra costs in a custom estimate.

These are scenario estimates, not guaranteed savings. Include review, setup and maintenance costs separately, and validate automation assumptions with a pilot.

Frequently asked questions

Does the calculator use Chatbyte prices?

Yes. Choose Essential, Growth or Professional to use its base monthly list price, or enter a custom monthly cost. Presets exclude tax, extra usage, add-ons, setup and maintenance. They do not automatically assess whether a plan’s conversation allowance covers your traffic. Review the pricing page and include additional costs in your estimate.

How is chatbot ROI calculated?

Saved hours equal monthly tickets × minutes per ticket ÷ 60 × automation rate. Multiply hours by hourly support cost, then subtract monthly chatbot cost for net savings. ROI is net savings divided by chatbot cost, multiplied by 100.

Do saved support hours equal cash savings?

Not necessarily. Saved hours represent capacity that can be used for other work. Compare conservative and optimistic automation scenarios, include setup and review costs separately, and validate assumptions in a pilot before treating the estimate as a budget saving.

Do I need a Chatbyte account?

No. These tools are free to use without signing up. Shared usage limits protect availability. Creating and running a Chatbyte chatbot is a separate product.
