Can I paste formatted content directly from an editor?
Yes. When the clipboard includes HTML, the tool can translate supported headings, lists, and links into Markdown. Paste a small section first to check whether the application you copied from provides rich clipboard content.
Why does pasted text sometimes lose its headings or links?
Some applications copy only plain text. Without HTML or existing Markdown, the original formatting is unavailable and the tool does not guess it. Try an HTML export or copy from the rendered document rather than a plain-text view.
Do I need a Chatbyte account?

How is my content processed?
Tools process submitted content on the server for the request. AI tools send extracted text through Vercel AI Gateway to the selected AI model provider. This app does not save tool inputs to a database. Chat history stays in the current tab until reset. Avoid confidential or personal data.
