Up to 3 MB. Text PDFs only; up to 100 pages and 12 MB of decoded PDF data. Legacy DOC and scanned PDFs are not supported.

Confirming changes starts a new conversation.

Put the result to work

Explore reports, structured exports, and documentation without reading them line by line first. Supported files include PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, CSV, JSON, HTML, XML, and RTF. Ask a narrow question, then refine it with follow-ups.

Uploads are limited to 3 MB and AI input to 60,000 characters including conversation. Split larger documents into focused sections.

Frequently asked questions

Which document formats can I chat with?

Supported uploads include PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, CSV, JSON, HTML, XML, and RTF. The tool extracts text before answering; it does not interpret every visual element, spreadsheet formula, or embedded image in those formats.

How do I ask questions about a large document?

Choose a focused section or smaller export. Uploads are limited to 3 MB, and the AI input budget includes the extracted text, your instructions, and conversation history. A short relevant source leaves more room for useful follow-ups.

Do I need a Chatbyte account?

No. These tools are free to use without signing up. Shared usage limits protect availability. Creating and running a Chatbyte chatbot is a separate product.

How is my content processed?

Tools process submitted content on the server for the request. AI tools send extracted text through Vercel AI Gateway to the selected AI model provider. This app does not save tool inputs to a database. Chat history stays in the current tab until reset. Avoid confidential or personal data.
