These Voice Self-Serve Terms and Billing Policy (Voice Billing Terms) supplement Chatbyte’s general Terms of Service for the Voice services described below.

From August 1, 2026, version 1.0 is used for new bookings of the current Voice self-serve plans and, subject to the legacy exception in section 6, for newly confirmed Usage Balance top-ups. For a top-up made under an unchanged existing subscription, these terms govern only that top-up and the use of the balance purchased with it. A top-up does not change the booked base plan, its price, included services, or term.

For unchanged existing subscriptions, the prices, allowances, features, and terms individually agreed or incorporated when they were booked continue until a change is expressly and validly agreed. Publishing these terms alone does not move a customer to another plan.

1. Scope and order of precedence

  1. These terms apply to the production Voice Starter, Pro, and Max self-serve plans and their associated Usage Balance. They are not a standalone offer for individually negotiated Custom or managed services.
  2. The general Terms of Service continue to apply. If there is a conflict concerning the plan-specific balance and billing rules covered here, these Voice Billing Terms control.
  3. Different terms in an individually accepted proposal, order form, or other express agreement control for the scope they address.

2. Plans, included minutes, and Usage Balance

  1. Usage Balance is a prefunded usage balance assigned to the booked Voice plan. It is not a standalone plan and does not provide access to plan features without an active Voice subscription.
  2. The conversation minutes included in the active plan are consumed first during a billing period. Only then are additional conversation minutes paid from Usage Balance added in advance.
  3. For the current offers, the plan rates fixed at booking for additional conversation minutes are €0.39/min on Starter, €0.34/min on Pro, and €0.29/min on Max in EUR; and $0.45/min on Starter, $0.39/min on Pro, and $0.33/min on Max in USD. While the booked plan remains unchanged, its agreed rate remains tied to the booked offer version and billing currency.
  4. Usage Balance can fund usage-based Voice services only. It does not pay recurring plan fees, taxes, or other charges that are not expressly identified as balance-eligible.

3. Cost control for additional usage

  1. Additional usage does not create an automatic postpaid debt. An insufficient Usage Balance does not automatically change or upgrade the plan.
  2. If the available Usage Balance cannot cover the required reservation for the expected billable portion, no further billable call begins. Calls fully covered by remaining included minutes are not treated as balance-funded usage for this purpose.

4. Top-ups and validity period

  1. A current self-serve top-up is at least €50 or $50 and no more than €2,000 or $2,000 per top-up transaction, according to the organization’s billing currency. The selected amount and applicable taxes are displayed before payment is confirmed.
  2. Each separately purchased balance lot expires 24 calendar months after confirmed payment. Mandatory law and expressly agreed different rights remain unaffected.

5. End of subscription and retained balance

  1. If the customer cancels or otherwise ends the active Voice subscription, any unused balance that has not expired remains recorded in the customer account.
  2. Without an active production Voice plan, that balance cannot be used for production calls. In particular, it does not entitle the customer to continue operating a platform phone number funded from the balance while unsubscribed.
  3. To use the retained balance again, the customer must subscribe to a production Voice Starter, Pro, or Max plan then available. A top-up alone does not reactivate a subscription or enable production use.

6. Exact legacy Prepaid exception

  1. Only organizations that can evidence an exact historical plan entitlement named Prepaid retain wallet-only calling and their historical limits, rate, and phone-number treatment under their unchanged historical offer terms.
  2. This narrow exception does not create Prepaid access for customers on the current plans. Prepaid is not available to new self-serve customers, and purchasing Usage Balance does not create a historical Prepaid entitlement.

7. Refunds and future versions

  1. Cancellation or expiry of a Voice subscription alone does not trigger an automatic refund of unused Usage Balance.
  2. Mandatory statutory refund, withdrawal, or other rights and expressly agreed refund rights remain unaffected.
  3. Future changes to these terms will be published prospectively with a new version number and effective date. They do not retroactively change terms already expressly agreed.
